Private & Semi-Private Bike Lessons in San Francisco

At Wildflower Outdoor Recreation, we provide patient, professional bike lessons in San Francisco for riders of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. Whether your child is stepping onto a balance bike for the first time, or you are an adult looking to build riding confidence, our tailored coaching method works for everyone. With experience teaching over 1,000 riders, our highly supportive and adaptive teaching style helps every rider—including neurodivergent students and those needing extra encouragement—work toward their biking milestones in a safe, fun environment.

This shorter booking page is for biking only. Families provide the bike and helmet. Bike lessons must be booked at least 48 hours before the desired lesson time.

If you only want bike coaching, you do not need to complete the full Wildflower participant intake. New bike clients can complete the short bike form first, then choose an open lesson time from the availability calendar. Returning bike clients can use the calendar to book their desired lesson time and then pay on Stripe. SDP/FMS clients should contact me for an invoice instead of paying through Stripe.

Bike session rates

1 participant: $125/hr
2 participants: $195 total for 1 hour
2-hour semi-private ride: $390 total ($195 per participant)

Families may pay out of pocket through Stripe or use SDP/FMS funding. I’ll follow up to confirm the session details.

Pay Out of Pocket on Stripe

Using SDP/FMS funding? Select the SDP/FMS option in the bike form. Please do not pay through Stripe unless I specifically ask you to. I can coordinate invoices or documentation based on your FMS requirements.

Cost should not be the reason someone misses out.

A limited number of reduced-rate bike coaching spots may be available for families for whom the standard lesson rate is a barrier. Please reach out if cost is a concern, and I’ll let you know what options are currently available.
